New England Aquarium
 |
The New England Aquarium was built with the intention of preserving
and bringing a better understanding of marine life to New England
and beyond. More than 30 years later it has grown substantially
and become a cultural institution serving to reconnect Boston
to its waterfront. The Aquarium remains a leader in research,
education and conservation. Exhibits are constantly under expansion
and renovation. |
The Giant Ocean Tank, which opened in 1970, was at the time
the largest circular, salt water tank in the world. The new Matthew
and Marcia Simons IMAX®, the only 3D theatre in Boston, opened
in December 2001 and has become a popular destination for tourists
and locals alike.
Boston Culinary Group partnered with the New England Aquarium
in 1997 and immediately set out to improve the quality of food
service to its patrons. The company participated in renovations
that opened a new cafeteria and brought all catering services
in-house. In addition to operating this new state-of-the-art
food court and providing event management and catering, we
also now serve visitors to the new IMAX® theatre. In a recent
industry survey conducted to assess food and beverage selection,
employee courtesy and cleanliness, Boston Culinary Group ranked
in the top 2 of all categories evaluated.
Whether it be inside along the edge of the Giant Ocean Tank,
or outside overlooking the harbor, the Aquarium offers a spectacular
setting for us to showcase the world class food and service we
provide to the more than 1.2 million visitors we see annually. |
