Bromley Mountain

Bromley Mountain is located in southern Vermont, just six miles east of historic Manchester, making it a great day trip or weekend destination for families from Albany, New York City, Hartford and Boston. Generations of skiers keep coming back to Bromley because they feel a sense of comfort, relaxation and familiarity here that they simply don't feel elsewhere.

The mountain is a perfect place to learn how to ski or board, validated by the fact that it was recently ranked North America's #1 Resort for Family Programs (Ski Magazine 2004).  Just because it’s a great place to learn though doesn’t mean that it doesn’t offer something for everyone.  While Run Around, which winds its way down around the West Side, will positively enthrall beginners, Bromley's East Side bristles with bumps and steeps with black diamond trails like Havoc, Pabst Panic and Stargazer. Upper and Lower Twister, down the mountain's front face, will thrill and challenge intermediates. In total Bromley has 39 trails, ten lifts, glade skiing, a freestyle terrain park and lots of snowmaking.

Boston Culinary Group has served as the exclusive food and beverage provider at this popular resort for close to twenty years.  We recently renovated the classic and centrally located Base Lodge, which now possesses all the modern amenities you would find at the biggest resorts in the country. Picture this. You’ve just come off the mountain after a beautiful morning of carving up the eight inches of new snow that fell last night. Your body needs a break and a hearty meal before you head back out. You find a table near the huge field stone fire place and grab a hot bowl of chili or chowder. If that isn’t enough try a delicious Sandella’s wrap, or a freshly grilled chicken sandwich or burger while you warm up and plan the afternoon’s runs. You would not be alone. The lodge is a favorite gathering spot for many of our patrons. We also operate two cafeterias and the Wild Boar Tavern, a full service restaurant and a great après ski spot when the lifts close. Our staff also host private functions and events all year long in the Tavern.

When the snow melts the fun doesn’t end at this resort. Bromley’s “Thrill Zone” amusement park entertains visitors all summer long with three alpine slides, a water slide, Deval carts, climbing walls and trampolines. We provide the ice cream, a cabana bar and a full menu of dining options on the sunny outdoor deck.
