Boston Culinary Group announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement for the food services at the new Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda, Florida. Boston Culinary Group is one of the nation’s leading providers of food, beverage and merchandise services in the recreation and leisure industry. The company will begin operations immediately.
The 44,000 square foot facility features a modern and open floor space design that lends itself to endless event layouts. The Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center can accommodate gatherings from large private parties to lavish weddings, business meetings, seminars, expos and special events of all sizes. Located on the waterfront, the Center offers panoramic views, from its Great Lawn and Riverwalk, of the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor.
According to Boston Culinary Group President Joe Armstrong, “Port Charlotte has come back strong from Hurricane Charlie in 2004 and we are proud to be part of the rebuilding of the community. Our management team in Florida is excited about adding another client to our family,” Jim Finch, Recreation Program Supervisor for the Center added, “Charlotte County looks forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Boston Culinary Group in providing for the food & beverage needs of our clients and guests at our facility."
Senior Vice President Sal Ferrulo will oversee the operation. “We have already delivered some great events at the Center and look forward to a fantastic Grand Opening weekend January 10.”
Boston Culinary Group currently provides food and beverage services to over 70 facilities nationwide including stadiums, ballparks, arenas, convention centers, independent restaurants, performing arts centers and ski resorts. Their eight locations in the state of Florida include the BankAtlantic Center (home of the NHL Florida Panthers) and Dolphin Stadium, host of the 2009 BCS National Championship Game and Super Bowl XLIV in 2010.
