Culinary Group Starts Operations at the Chevrolet
Center
Boston Culinary Group, one of the nations leading providers of food, beverage
and merchandise services to sports, convention and entertainment centers announced
today that it has officially started operations at the Chevrolet
Center.The 5,700 seat multi-purpose facility will be the home of the Youngstown
Steelhounds of the Central Hockey League. The Center will be managed by International
Coliseums Company (ICC) a division of Global Entertainment Corporation.
The long term agreement provides the company with exclusive rights
to the concession, catering and premium services at the new arena,
scheduled to open on October 29, 2005. Three concerts (3 Doors
Down, Tony Bennett and Australian Pink Floyd) will lead up to the
opening of the Steelhounds season on November 4th. The team will
play 32 home games at the Center.
“We are very excited about this new business,” said
Executive Vice President Chris Verros, “Our team has been
on the ground for a few weeks and we look forward to a great opening.” Regional
Vice President Greg Fender will oversee the project. The company
has moved General Manager Mark Daigle from Dolphins Stadium where
he was managing the Premium Services.
