Boston Culinary Group announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement for the food services at the new Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark in Miramar, Florida. Boston Culinary Group is one of the nation’s leading providers of food, beverage and merchandise services in the recreation and leisure industry.  The company will begin operations immediately.

The Center consists of an 800-seat theater, two art galleries, banquet facilities, a full-service kitchen, rehearsal halls, classrooms and a botanical garden. “We are excited about this new venture,” said Sal Ferrulo, BCG Senior Vice President. “The Miramar Cultural Center will provide our culinary team here in south Florida a great showcase with a focus on the arts. Our chefs fancy themselves as artists so I know they will be all about creating spectacular presentations that will be reflective of the Center’s colorful surroundings.”

Ferrulo and the Center’s Assistant Director Camasha Cevieux are confident that the Center will attract local catering business based on their location, the unique profile of the venue and the quality of the banquet facilities. “When you combine all of those elements with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff here, we’ve really got a recipe for success,” added Ferrulo.

Ms. Cevieux:  “The Boston Culinary Group is a wonderful addition to The Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark. Having on-site catering readily available for our patrons is such an important component in the City’s efforts, we look forward to having these experienced culinary professionals as a member of our team,” said Ms. Cevieux. “The City of Miramar has formed firm partnerships with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art/Nova Southeastern University, by adding Boston Culinary Group, we are continuing a winning trend.”

The Center becomes the Boston Culinary Group’s twelfth account in the state of Florida. The Miramar location is within miles of the largest account on the list and host to next year’s Super Bowl, Dolphin Stadium. “It’s great to build upon our strong base in Florida,” said BCG President Joe Armstrong. “The benefits are innumerable. To be able to continue to employ new people and further the careers of our great people down there, in this current economic climate, is admirable.”

Boston Culinary Group currently provides food and beverage services to over 70 facilities nationwide including stadiums, ballparks, arenas, convention centers, independent restaurants, performing arts centers and ski resorts.
